For week’s contest I, and many others, have been salivating at the idea of how good the Redskins defense can be. We got our first glimpse at the first team unit and they certainly didn’t disappoint in a losing pre-season effort to the Cincinnati Bengals. On this edition of the Pig Pen Podcast, we broke down all the guys that really stuck out on the defensive side of the ball.Dwayne Haskins gave us a bright sign of hope with a beautiful touchdown to Robert Davis. Find out the one thing that really stuck out about Haskins that Case Keenum hasn’t quite picked up yet.Lastly, we close out the show with a brief, but very much necessary, rant on about the latest officiating scourge on the game: pass interference challenges. If you haven’t already be sure to subscribe to the Hogs Haven Podcast network on Apple Podcasts Womens Dwayne Haskins Jersey , Google Play, Stitcher, and Spotify. If Washington believes the tools that he had when recruited as a 5-star high school prospect, they could be willing to see how he handles the transition in rookie minicamp. He was a mismatched fit as an EDGE rusher but showed some ability that could translate to a serviceable depth linebacker if given good coaching. At the moment, Washington’s depth at inside linebacker is at the whim on the commissioner’s decision with Rueben Foster, the development of Shaun Dion Hamilton, and whether the team still believes in Mason Foster. If the Skins want to look towards linebacker prospects with more coverage skills, Allen-Williams is worth giving a look.
