The 2018 bill clarified the difference by setting a line of demarcation as it relates to the amount of THC. THC stands for Tetrahydrocannabinol, which is responsible for the “high” Canzana CBD Oil is associated with marijuana. The bill states Canzana CBD Oil hemp products containing no more than 0.3% THC are now considered “industrial hemp,” which is legally separate and distinct from hemp containing more than 0.3% THC which is now considered marijuana, a Schedule I drug. Once this bill passed, individual states then decided whether or not to create their own legislation to further regulate the growth and sale of industrial hemp products within the state. Some cities within states have created additional local ordinances to further regulate the sale of industrial hemp products.
