Now it’s time to look at each opponent and predict the Colts win totals for the season analyzing each game.<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="eghQbZ">Game by game predictions:September 8th: @ Chargers, LossThe Colts open the season on the road against the LA Chargers. The Chargers are one of the most balanced teams in football. They can run the ball, pass and play defense at a high level. The Chargers prove just slightly too much for the young Colts. 0-1September 15th: @ Titans, WinThe Titans are 0-11 against the Andrew Luck led Colts, and it won’t change here. The Titans get overpowered by the Colts. 1-1September 22nd: vs. Falcons, WinThe Colts and Falcons are similar teams. Both have franchise QBs, high-powered passing offenses, solid run games and fast, athletic defendes. The Colts pull out a victory as the Falcons defense doesn’t have an consistent answer for Luck and Co. 2-1September 29th: vs. Raiders, WinThe 2019 Hard Knocks featured Raiders added Antonio Brown and three first round picks in the off-season but those moves still result in a tick in the win column for the Colts. 3-1October 6th: @ Chiefs (Sunday Night Football), LossThe Colts play their first prime-time game against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. This also marks the return to Arrowhead Stadium Jabaal Sheard Jersey , where Indy saw their 2018 season come to an end. The result is the same but the game is much closer. 3-2October 20th: vs. Texans, WinThe Texans offense give the Colts defense some problems but Luck and Co. give a repeat performance of the 2018 wild card game. The offense proves too much for the Texans defense. 4-2October 27th: vs. Broncos, WinNew head coach Vic Fangio improves the Broncos overall defensive play but the Joe Flacco led offense is well short of elite. 5-2 November 3rd: @ Steelers, WinAfter losing Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell in the off-season, the offense takes a dip Big Ben can’t drag the Steelers out of. The Colts out-muscle the Steelers on the road. 6-2 November 10th: vs. Dolphins, WinIn a clear rebuild year, the Dolphins get overwhelmed by an onslaught from the Colts offense and defense. This one could get ugly and quick! 7-2 November 17th: vs. Jaguars, WinThe Nick Foles led Jaguars prove to be a similar foe for the Colts. Improvement at quarterback doesn’t do enough, as the Colts defense shuts down the Jaguars offense. 8-2November 21st: @ Texans (Thursday Night Football), WinThe Colts play their second prime time game of the season by traveling to Houston for Thursday Night Football. Two words, TY Hilton. The wide receiver does what he always does at the NRG Stadium. 9-2 December 1st: vs. Titans Pierre Desir Color Rush Jersey , WinAs I said before, the Luck led Colts are 0-11 against the Titans and it doesn’t change here either. 10-2 December 8th: @ Buccaneers, WinThe Colts face a familiar face in the Bruce Arians-led Buccaneers but the Colts roll the Buccaneers and it ain’t close. 11-2December 16th: @ Saints (Monday Night Football), LossThe Colts play their third and final prime time game on the road against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. The Saints were one of the best teams in football in 2018 and if not for a bad no-call would of been in the Super Bowl. Expect this to be the hardest game of the Colts season. Unfortunately, the Colts come away with a loss. 11-3December 22nd: vs. Panthers, WinThe Colts finish their home schedule against the Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton’s arm should be back to normal by week 15 but even a healthy Cam can’t stop the Colts grabbing a win. 12-3December 29th: @ Jaguars, Win The Jaguars are at home but not much else is on their side in this one. Colts win. 13-3Predicted record: 13-3 Not surprisingly, fewer fans are going to games in person.
